You mean use flatpak to install the same app that's not working now under this OS? Or using flatpak to install some other SIP/VOIP softphone? If the latter, which one to install? Any recommendations?

I'm sorry for not being more clear. I meant using flatpak to install Jami. I just checked it on mobian and it works quite well.

Thanks for clarifying. I tried the flatpak version under Manjaro-ARM (Plasma) and it behaves the same as the non-flatpak one. I get only a splash screen when I try to run the app and it seems afterward at some point to just unceremoniously abort. Guess I'll have to try Mobian or some other OS to get SIP/VOIP functionality out of my PinePhone.

What is the error  if you run jami-qt from the command line?

My error is
Code:
jami-qt: symbol lookup error: jami-qt: undefined symbol: _ZN3lrc3api11PluginModel26getPluginPreferencesValuesERK7QString

Out of interest, compare the results of
Code:
pacman -Fl qt6-webengine
on your Pinephone and on your x86-64 machine. On teh Arch pinephone and Archlinux x86-64 PC they are hugely different.
PS. if you get an error run
Code:
sudo pacman -Fy
to get the pacman file lists
