Ethernet and USB (lower port) are working now. You can try the Mainline*-next-* image from Armbian.

How I miss this from armbian website, I didnt know that there is a branch for pine64. Thats absolutely awesome. Many thanks. I would like to try today.

The latest images comes with a 4.10-rc/next kernel, so I took their previous 4.9 dev kernel and moved it to 4.9.8.
Runs like a charm with the known limitations, but stable enough to play around with Docker and Kubernetes.
