I just tested it on RockPro64 and RockPi4C with latest TwisterOS Armbian 1.1.0 and latest RetroArch Content Downloader works, Core Downloader didn't work.

Yes, I tried the same. Have you installed Retroarch from repo or from ppa? Anyway, it is the same, cause Retroarch cores are not available for arm64.

Please, does it support Retroarch with online updater?

We haven't done any work/test around Retroarch. Core updater still doesn't work with Retroarch but as already explained to you, the cores can be downloaded using apt. It'd be nearly impossible to cover every frontend emulator tool available.

Just one question. Is there any way how to upgrade from earlier versions of do we have to rewrite whole SD/eMMC each time?
Also, is it OK when I upgrade all the packages using apt? I am used to always update everything.

Unfortunately we don't have a way to update from 1.1.0 to 2.0.0 without rewriting whole SD/EMMC/NVME? Yes, it's perfectly OK to upgrade packages via apt.

If I understand correctly, I may upgrade the packages via apt, but I need to rewrite eMMC to upgrade to 2.0?
