@lukasz Any further update on the PineTab? e.g. did the PCB with the new LCD driver chip checkout and are they on their way to production yet?

@lennie: in another forum thread I found a link to https://www.pine64.org/shipping/ which as of writing says:

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's delayed. See the latest news - they found a mistake which causes a 1-week shipping delay, quote:

Quote:Based on the present production schedule, the PineTabs will be delivered to us on August 21, and we will see to it that they are shipped out as soon as possible. We apologise for this slight delay.

While personally for me mentioned issue (swapped vol +/- buttons), doesn't sound serious, Pine64 decided that fixing it worth a delay. Okay.

Despite our eagerness, we'll live through another week. I'd certainly rather have that issue fixed so there's not 2 versions of the same software to accommodate just for those swapped buttons in a lone batch.

If it happened that became true, would it be possible to get an update on delivery date then?

The main website 'Shipping' link (at the top of the page) was updated to 25 August.

There was a new update to all shipping yesterday and Luke created a new thread in General-News https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=11134 In the thread is this tidbit 'PineTabs ought to begin shipping this Friday, August 28, but this date may be pushed to the following week (31 Aug. - 5 Sep.).'

I'm not dissapointed. 

It's a brand new low volume niche product for tech enthousiasts, manufactured in the corona times using worldwide products.

I expected delays before I pressed on the payment. Tongue

I wished we got e-mail updates though. After shipping I didn't receive a single e-mail regarding the purchase.

I haven't received message that the shipment has been send out. I hope I will receive a message shortly.
