Mobian is using Pinhole (gnome-camera) according to their website https://wiki.mobian-project.org/doku.php?id=pinhole which is working according to the latest blog release https://www.pine64.org/2020/07/15/july-updatepmos-ce-pre-orders-and-new-pinephone-version/

the aur has a PKGBUILD for pinhole but it's from March: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnome-camera-git/

I'm going to try to build it today

additionally requires libhandy1 and libaperture to build, but it built successfully.

doesn't show any video. may tinker with it later

Don't confuse pinhole with gnome-camera - it's a fork made after discussions with the gnome-camera maintainer.

Actually, gnome-camera is not even gnome-camera anymore: it's "camera". We called it "pinhole" in Mobian/Debian as the name "camera" is too generic.

But pinhole is NOT a fork, it really is just camera with a different name: there are no patches applied, no source code change at all, only a build option for which we use a non-default value.

Well, seems work not bad.

I can't test, is call/sms working when the phone is in sleep mode ?

Is it possible to resize windows like Firefox window ? It take more than my screen and I can't edit settings.

how does one autostart in Phosh, i.e. to start udiskie on login

camera is broken on the latest update. it seems it's fixed in Mobian: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=10578&page=5

Is there any difference in performance using a UBPorts C.E. phone  OR   a Brave Heart Edition phone  ?

Probably not, as both device are the same as in specs.
