The store does not seem to currently have the IR peripheral as something I can buy. Is there something special about the device or is it possible to add a standard IR receiver? Is it planned to sell the official receiver in the store soon?
Anyone care to therorize if a TSOP4838 will work in place of the TSSP58038 that tllim is using?
Pine IR sensor according to tllim

TSOP4838

The S and O difference in the part number means S=Sensor or O=IR reciever
They both have the same base 38khz frequency (last two digits of the part numbers)
Their electrical characteristics seem very similar. Their package shape seems to be the largest difference? Anyone?

Both works.
I buyed this sensor http://www.ebay.es/itm/TSOP4838-Sensor-I...Swv0tVNiUa and this remote http://www.amazon.es/dp/B00O00SEBI .
Didn't works at Android, what's the matter? It's the correct remote?
The remote is not correct but sensor should be OK.
This remote only works on MX player, it has different command set then Pine64. For Pine64 command, please refer to Pine64 wiki page.
Thank you! Did you know where I can buy a remote compatible with pine64 ? Not the official, of course

If you have the Logitech Harmony remote, you can input the command code and will work. Another remote control that I knows will work is Open Hour remote control:
