Hi everyone!
I just ordered my Pine64 and I wanted to use it with android on my TV.
However I was wondering if there is a way to control the android with something else than a mouse and keyboard. I was a raspberry pi user (with OSMC on it) and I controlled it with my phone.
The goal for me is having on the Pine apps like netflix, kodi for having my complete media center, and some games like angry birds that I can play with a remote.

Is something like that possible?

Thanks a lot!

Just get the Pine64 IR remote control kit. You also can configure your Harmony remote or others universal remote using the IR code, http://files.pine64.org/doc/Pine%20A64%2...t-logo.jpg, provided at Pine64 wiki page. Please remember to add an IR receiver (3 pins) in front of the Pine A64 board.
You don't need IR remote control kit, you just need the BT module.
Then, you will be able to use any bluetooth controller.
BUT, , I can't enable the BT on your last android release :/ Can you?
Thank you for your responses!
I have ordered with the bluetooth (and wifi) module so I'll look for bluetooth controller!
But how will it work? Since on android this is a mouse?

In general, the Bluetooth remote controller that designs for Android should work.
I just ended up getting a bluetooth keyboard with a built-in track-pad.  Got the Logitech K400 for $25 on amazon prime. It has been working great for me, and cuts out the need for line of sight as needed by IR remotes.

Here is IR Remote Control info: http://files.pine64.org/doc/Pine%20A64%2...t-logo.jpg
What about HDMI CEC? We could use the TV remote control...
Yes...CEC would be the best option. I am not sure why there is no Update on when CEC will be implemented.
