Works fine on the 4.4.138-1100 kernel from Ayufan - don't use anything higher than that. (All later 4.4 kernels have broken the HDMI sound, allegedly an upstream/RockChip issue. All 4.19 & 4.20 kernels have no sound, HDMI or 3.5", that I have found.)
Thank you very much! Now that I have sound I realize how crappy are my HDMI speakers. Next fix, I guess.
