I have got a RockPro64 straight form the factory mid /endJul second batch. It wont boot any of the images.
after burn I have 7 partition (5 unknown loader 1 & 2 etc)

Error
[Image: 20180818_003940_Large.jpg]

I have tested  2 diff sd pro cards, latest from wiki bionic, stretch no go.

Im booting from SD. Jumper J15 open should work since only SD card inserted to boot.
User etcher and w32.

What do you think?

Is it the board or something else wrong
It looks to me that your flashing has got a problem - whether w32, etcher or the card(s) who knows but ...

The broad screen dump you have looks good. EXCEPT at 3.435109s you have an error of the disk partition that has the rootfs. (So the rootfs does not mount and the boot hangs.

I very much doubt any board problem. Would urge you try the bionic minimal image until you get some confidence in the hardware bits.

Have you only got w32 or have you got linux anywhere else?

Not sure what you mean by jumper J15 - there is only 1 2-pin jumper on the ROCKPro64 (next to EMMC card) and it is unlabelled. But in any event if you are trying to boot from the SDcard it does not matter if you have a jumper on or not.

PS - duh, you obviously have mint & gparted when I look at your top picture! Put the SDcard into your mint machine and fsck /dev/sda7 (or wherever it appears!) But preferably re-flash the card until an fsck in mint does not turn up errors.

(Also fsck /dev/sda6 - in this case 1 error about dirty bit is 100% normal!)
Please remove your PCIe card and boot again.
hi all,

the burn is done in Win 10 latest, with W32 or Etcher even tried the Pine custom Etcher tool. pine64-installer-2.0.0-beta.3-win32-x86
Burned bionic-lxde-rockpro64-0.7.9-1067-arm64.img and stretch-minimal-rockpro64-0.7.9-1067-arm64.img
both do the same thing.
I use Sandisk Pro U3 and all ok on Tinker - Pi but no go on the RockPro.
Never had burning problems
I dont have emmc or PCie connected

Yes J15 is the one next to EMMC as per the WIKI. And we agree open with ONLY SD should boot

I used Mint to check the partitions and remove them from the SD.

I have a PINE 5A adapter supplied with the board from the factory but as you can see it gives also an error about invalid power supply.
That is why Im thinking something wrong with the board.
No boot since day one
2Play! refers to a "J15". Is that silkscreened on the board? If there, does it really refer to this jumper? When was it added, and why J15?

dukla200 refers to "SW4", which shows in the schematic, but he claims it's unlabeled on the board (as have others). I don't have a board to look at, and all the pictures don't have sufficient resolution to learn anything.

What gives?

There is an OK picture here. It was numbered 15 (not J15) in the labelled photo in the wiki: we edited that today to add some stuff and it is now
16 in the labelled picture in the wiki
SW4 in the schematic
nothing in the silkscreen.

! - urge you to try my steps 1-5 on your mint box in  my HOW-TO here.

PPS that PCIe invalid power supply message is "normal"! I have that in my logs and my NVMe is working just fine. I suspect it is an artefact of a suboptimal dtb.
Correct I noticed now its updated to J16

To be clear, those are item callouts for the illustration only. They have no relation to the schematic reference designators.
Still we both understand to which one it corresponds :-)
Good day to all,

I ve burned a dev Lakka RockPro64 version on a cheap 8GB SD card.
I used Etcher-Portable-1.4.4-x64 to burn the tar.gz directly (no need to unzip) and worked smooth!!!
So my board if fine and alive!

Thank you all gents for your kind help!
