I tried 2 different wifi dongles and got nothing. What compatible dongle works with Remix OS?

I got the 2gb board so Ethernet doesn't work either
i am only aware of some usb-ethernet-adapters which work.
i tried a few wifi dongles none worked either...

I tried fritz.box wifi sticks 2 different and a china stick from ueb. i believe there are no working drivers for those accessories yet?

there is also some talk about a fix for the ethernet-bug coming up in a few days, just be a little bit patient :-)
If you want to make headway on figuring which dongles work everyone should list the chipset of the ones you have tried, whether it works or not.

If you use a Linux desktop for your home PC you can plug it in and type lsusb in terminal to see what is on the USB bus.
Windows probably lists the device in hardware manager.

Example of how lsusb will give the adapter chipset:
Ralink Technology, Corp. RT5370 Wireless Adapter
Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188ETV Wireless LAN 802.11n Network Adapter
Ralink Technology, Corp. MT7601U Wireless Adapter
Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188EUS 802.11n Wireless Network Adapter

This way everyone can see what others have already tried.
no luck with edimax either

According to tkaiser's post here, USB WiFi dongles don't currently work because AllWinner never enabled them in their kernel.
I have the 2gb board and my Ethernet works great. I also purchased the wifi/Bluetooth add-on from pine64 and that is also working. Maybe try a newer image and see if that helps with the Ethernet.
Just to let everyone know, third party WiFi dongles are now supported in the newest longsleep release.

I can personally Confirm the TP-Link TL-WN722N works quite well with Pine and latest kernel.

Hi! Does it work under RemixOS? Can you check it under Android 5.1.1 (05.05.2016)?

I didn't order wifi, and now itsn't avaliable to buy. If TP-Link's dongle is supported (I hope), I gonna buy it. Thank you))
