Does Hyperion work with the rock64?
https://hyperion-project.org/
It's mostly used for creating your own ambilight and can be used with libreelec/kodi etc for watching movies and stuff.
It's working fine with the RPi, and since the rock GPIO Pins are supposed to be the same, it should work as well... but dunno...

I asked Raybuntu, but he does not use it..
maybe any one did try it?

Not aware about hyperion project. However, if the hyperon developers interest to develop on ROCK64, he/she can PM me and I will provide ROCK64 board for their development.

have the hyperion developers reported and we can soon experience an ambilight with 4k60hz? so far that is only possible with other devices and a lot of effort. if something like that would run on the rock that would be great.
any news about Hyperion on Rock 3399? The kodi menu works very well, but films and live tv doesnt work...
