Is anyone working on the sound out on the laptop? Iether the internal speakers or headphone would be nice, and a line out would be great too!

There is a line out ... not sure I understand you question.

The max sound level out is barely loud enough to hear through speakers or line out.

Thats because the default audio levels in alsa are stupidly low ... see my response here (3rd post / first page) to a users inquiry.
