something better? like RemixOS I did found today for my Odroid C2:
VolksPC from VolksPC.org
debian with xfcd and Android at the same time ( no dulboot)
does use at the same time kernel and filesystem for booth....
switching between like between apps on windows

We already start collaborate with Bliss ROM and hopefully the Bliss ROM will support on PINE64 and ROCK64 platform soon. Since Blliss ROM is open source, there is no concern of closed OS.
