That might have something to do with
when that update was posted... note that is was posted in March 2016, so naturally doesn't talk about a later 2017 release!
For anyone still confused over this, there is no longer a beta image for Remix OS from 2016 available for download from the
linked wiki page, but instead the final v2.0, dated 2017-Jan-05 (well, at the time I'm writing this, that is the version that is up!)

I'll check it out today. The beta did OK with Netflix and Kodi as well as stream games from my computer. (If only it could support the Steam Controller).

This is a bootable SDCard Image that only suitable for Pine A64 with 1GB & 2GB ram version.
After unrar the file, use Allwinner PhoenixCard Bootable SDCard Creator to create the bootable SDCard.
