Not yet for A64 :-(

Unfortunately, no. It was a stretchgoal that they didn't meet. They're working on it, although not at the same speed as when the project had funding. Unfortunately, the money from the kickstarter ran out, but the base of their work should yield support for A64 and the missing H-series of SoCs on a later date.

Bootlin has mentioned to get that may able to have A64 supported on end of this year but not promised, I keep my finger crossed. However, most of the up lifting tasks already implemented.
Another update from the people at Bootlin today:

TLDR:
They submitted a patch series for kernel 4.20-rc adding support for the A64 and H5 Allwinner SoCs in the Cedrus VPU driver on November 15.

Final message from Bootlin about the Cedrus mainline driver. https://bootlin.com/blog/wrapping-up-the...iver-work/
I'm happy to have supported the initiative looking at the amount of work and value that was put into the project. Smile
