Since Pine64 is now based out of the US and a functioning business, they will be held liable. I would suggest anyone else who's had issues such as I have to do the same and launch a complaint as well.

Here is some free advice. Threatening legal action against most companies nowdays will get you a quick ticket to talk ONLY with their legal dept. If the Pine people are smart, thats how they will handle it.

Did you not get the update yesterday? Where I am its 5/3 in the USA. on 5/2 they posted an update and emailed all backers.

No I got nothing related to anything Pine. Here's my advice to you, unless you are employed by Pine64 keep your nose out of it. Good I'll gladly talk to their legal dept thru my state attorney general's office who like taking care of these cases of fraud. Again, unless you are employed by Pine64 keep you nose out of it.

So as you can see everyone will be getting their board. Delays at this point are mostly from people ignoring communications from Pine about filling out the shipping survey, or people who added items during the survey. Some of those added items caused delays. If its that big an issue dispute it with your credit card and be done with it. The FTC is going to do nothing, you invested in a kickstarter, not purchased a product. Its a marginal difference but legally, it is a difference.
I'm trying to stay patient, wait for a little while longer, but seeing johnson advertising ''his new project'' on his fb profile isn't helping. After the lack of punctuality and reliability you've shown so far, the least you can do out of respect to your backers is to dedicate time and effort to your product and not start advertising new business ventures when there are several issues you need you attend to first!

On a side note, I expect to receive 4 boards with a few accessories. I just hope there will all be 100% functional if/when I get them....

Let me give a piece of advice oh holy internet lawyer. The Kickstarter backing is an investment but once I ordered items from backerkit, it became about selling goods and services. At which point, I gave them money--they give me goods. That's usually how businesses operate.

You are correct. The items added during the backerkit phase are a normal transaction. The Pine board is not. But they made it clear at least to my holy understanding that all orders would be shipped as soon as all parts for a given order were on hand. Likely based on your backerkit comment you ordered something additional. Those additional pieces created delays of their own. Since there was no guaranteed shipping dates, you haven't a leg to stand on, it was part of the agreement you entered into.  Wink

Can I get a replacement?

Same problem. It seems it`s as should work.
Hello, I'm a Kickstarter supporter with a "March" 2GB board, Wifi, acrylic case, and RemixOS SD card. Can anyone tell me when my bundle is likely to ship? I'm guessing that it's the RemixOS card causing the delay at this point. Are orders with those being delayed until the Ethernet issues mentioned in the latest update are resolved? Thanks.
, sorry i'm late replying. PM me so we can talk about your issues.
I am backer #20,809. Ordered the Pine64+ 2GB for march delivery and added on a number of items through Backerkit but none that I believe are delayed:
Additional PINE A64+ 1GB
Acrylic Open Enclosure
5V 2A Power Supply - USA
RTC Backup Battery - CR
Wifi 802.11BGN/ Bluetooth 4.0 Module

I locked my order down as soon as possible and was charged about 2 months ago and am still listed as ready to ship. I am patient but becoming frustrated. This is by far NOT the worst delay I have experienced from Kickstarter, (currently waiting on 1 item that was delayed 6 months and another over a year) but the communication has been poor and the back end performance when it comes to record keeping, data entry and getting things out the door is hard to describe as anything other than embarrassing. Am I missing anything that was delayed? What in my order is keeping my package from shipping or from getting a tracking number?

All that said I am still hopeful for the actual board, but concerned that the bad feelings created by the process will delay the development of the type of community found around other products such as the Raspberry Pi.
