I'm in Canada and cannot get the battery shipped to me and there's seems to be lots of confusion on which batteries will work. Can we get a list of compatible batteries with links so we can order them easily? Ebay links would be great
.
Another question does the AC to DC PSU actually charge the battery as well?

Any 3.7V lithium or LiPo battery will work. If possible, get the one that have temperature sensor build in for safety reason.

The PSU also charge the Lithium battery but not RTC battery.

Thanks TL. What type of connector should the LiPo battery have?

They might work in theory but a) you'll need a lot more mAh than a couple of hundred, think more like 8000mAh for anything useful, and b) still not 100% sure of connector type.
Think more like
this.
If you can't find a Lithium battery suitable for use with a Pine A64 then an alternate approach is a USB battery pack. One suggestion is an Allpowers 3.5A Portable 15000mAH Power Bank with a price of $24.99 at Amazon Canada.

Ah, I missed this one and sorry on late reply, the connector is 3 pin JST PH type female connector. Picture included.
Many thanks, TL. This will help people source appropriate batteries.

Hi
I've seen CANADA AMAZON, a battery that maybe you like ..
1200mAh 3.7V Li-Poly Battery with JST-PH cable
or keep looking ..
That's good, but won't last very long. You need to bump up the mAh
