Hi there,

I would like to use my Pine as a server to host my website. Does anyone know a easy way to do this?
I found a way to do it with a Raspberry Pi, can I use the same steps as they do?

Thanks
Funny you post this, I was just looking into it. Once we get a stable linux release, it should be possible.
Ya i think once a Linux distribution be able to run on pine64 we can do whatever we want to.

Hosting a website on PINE64 is likely one of the most popular uses for it! You'll be able to set up Apache, nginx, whatever you want!
Hi,

Indeed, I am interested in this too.  I currently host a website on my Raspberry Pi 2 and am hoping that my Pine64 will be an upgrade.  In practice, it is actually quite easy, but you just need to ensure the appropriate packages are available.

The other item that is worth considering is running OwnCloud since you can basically create your own "Dropbox" like storage.  It works great on RPi if not a bit slow and I am hoping that it will run much faster on my P64.

Nice, can you let me know if it works on your Pine and how you managed to do it?
Sure, no problem.
