Hey guys,

I want to make an Android game station with the Pine A64.
I first bought : PINE A64+ w/ 2GB SDRAM.

When available, I'll get these elements from PineA64:
  • Wifi 802.11BGN / Bluetooth 4.0 Combo
  • Acrylic case with mounting kit and 4 legs and Laser etching
  • PINE64 UL approved 5V 2A International Kit power Supply
I can use any USB 5V 2.1A power supply with microusb cable to power the PINE64 so I'm not sure about the last element.

I also bought a huge sd card to install the games and RemixOShttp://www.jide.com/en/remixos
I think this is the best solution to play Android games.

I'll also get 2 or 4 bluetooth controllers.
These have nice customer reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth...0188FPWOM/

About local multiplayer games, I think we should make a list of the top game: Do I miss something?
Is RemixOS compatible with the Pine64 to date?
I'm keen to have a micro SD card set up as an Android game station as well~ :3 You can do that right? Just power down and swap out the micro SD cards, jump from Android, to Linux, to RemixOS, etc?

This might be kinda weird, but I just wanna complement you on your wonderful post formatting! n__n It's very well laid out/emphasised and easy to read, and the links made it more thorough as well.

That's exactly right - power down, swap out, change OS Smile
Big Grin Sweet~! ... :0c Is there a list of supported OS's somewhere?

I think that info is a little scattered about at the moment. Certainly Android, Remix OS, and some form(s) of Linux are on the cards.
Hmm... would Mac/Windows be too resource intensive? :0c

Mac operating system is a very closed environment, there's no chance of Apple opening up use of the OS to a non-Apple product.

Windows, largely speaking, runs on x86 processors, but not on ARM prcoessors, which is what the Pine uses. A quick forum search for 'windows' should throw up some other threads where this has been discussed (and continues to be discussed).

OS X:

Windows:

Ah, thanks! n___n;; Well, Android is my main interest, though I'd also like to look into Linux. I was just wondering, since they have tablets, if maybe there was a version that was 'smaller' and perhaps more compatible.

I'll check out those threads, though~ :3
RemixOS will be fine (or already is?).

You have to use a micro sd. There is no other storage system.
Android will be on the microsd and so the games.
The games will be installed on Android anyway.
