I couldn't get the LCD to work with anything except the PhoenixCard image that was made for this purpose.

Is it rooted? I don't have a power button on my Pine so I'm going to write an app that shuts it down. THat needs to be able to "su".

WIll that work?

Tx in advance
Found the rooted LCD image. Doh.

Can you say where you found it? I can't get anything more than back lights from my LDC. I've tried just about every image I can find.

Rooted Android LCD images can be found on the Pine wiki page, here, under the header 'Rooted DD images'.

(Note: scroll down past the first four 'standard' DD images in that section to find those labelled as being rooted).

Or:

Android LCD rooted 8GB image.

Android LCD rooted 16GB image.

Android LCD rooted 32GB image.

Android LCD rooted 64GB image.

(Note: you cannot burn these images using the PhoenixCard software. Use the dd command, Win32DiskImager, Rufus, Etcher, ApplePi Baker or similar (depending on operating system used to burn with)).

(Also note: that described file sizes may be slightly too large for your microSD card of choice (actual capacities vary). In that situation, either choose an image one size down from your card, or resize the existing image using IBEX File Size Changer.)
