Hi, I was happy to received my 2 Pine last week.

I have 2 different problems with both of them right now.

Pine #1
PineA64+ 2GB
Wifi module working
Power on/off switch soldered in place and working
Booted with supplied Android SD card
Connected to HDMI TV

I entered my Google Account and I was able to download 2 apps.
But now every app I tried to download is giving an error message.
"Authentication is required. You need to sign into your Google Account." (See attached image)
I click on the message, but is not asking me to sign it.
The actual Google Play Store is showing my email address linked to the account so it seemed it is connected.

Is there a way out so I can download new apps?

Pine #2
PineA64+ 2GB

Power on/off switch soldered in place and working
Bought this one with the LCD Touch Screen

I download the specific Android version to work with the LCD Touch Screen
The LCD Screen is showing the desktop but when I touch the screen nothing happens. (See attach image)

Anything I did wrong or I should correct?
I checked wiring and it seems fine.

Thank you!
Well, in reverse order, the touch may be damaged. There is an interface chip on the LCD that attaches to the touch cable (six pin) and it may have been ESD shocked. who knows.

Make sure that the six(6) pin touch cable is plugged correctly (contacts towards the board) in the FFC connector for the thin touch cable. ... not connected, no touchy...

Second, it does not look like you are actually logged into your account on the Play Store; although, do some searching, others have had the issue where they could not download apps from the play store. I have not had the issue at all.. I tried to reproduce it, and my play box has downloaded several apps so far... some I previously purchased and some new ones too...

6 pin touch cable is the one that connects in the upper left corner of the board, (see this photo).
The touch cable is taped to the back of the display, and if you're not paying attention you'll forget to untape it and plug it in... ask me how I know ??

No I had not connected it, thank you, I thought it was the camera or something

But, plugged-in correctly still does not work ...

I'm skeptical....

... make 'sure' that the cable is fully engaged, with the silver pads 'down' against the pine board with the darker orange|brown up towards you.
