Has anyone gotten any OS to work with a 128GB microSD card? I attempted to flash the Remix OS to mine and it seemed to work, but got hung up on the Remix OS loading screen when I tried to boot it. When I was downloading the OS from the Pine wiki I noticed that there appear to be builds made for the various sized cards, but they top out at 64GB. I'm a total novice so there may be something I'm missing here, do I have to wait until there's a new build for the OS that's compatible with the 128GB card?

You should be able to put a 64GB image onto a 128GB microSD without issues. Problems would come from burning method used to burn the OS and also the integrity of the microSD card (i.e. whether it perhaps misreports its storage capacity).
I'm running android ×0505 (rooted) on a 128gb card. Burned it with phoenix card.

I checked the card out and it's legit, I just may be doing this wrong. I got PhoenixCard and downloaded the Remix OS image at the bottom that says "Phoenix Card Image". Was that not the right one? The one above it is DD image for 64GB microSD card, should I use that one instead?

Which image did you flash to your card?

No, you did it right if using a PhoenixCard image. What make is the microSD?
It's a PNY. Like I said, the card checked out.

Ok, cool. All I can say is that PNY cards are fairly well known to have slow random I/O speeds, which are what is needed when running an OS from microSD.

Best cards rated so far are Samsung Evo+, far as I know.

Cool, thanks. Could be that I just didn't leave it on long enough, though it was like 30 minutes sitting on the Remix OS screen. I'll try again, maybe there's something I missed.
Just an FYI, if looking for new cards, check Amazon today if you are a Prime member. They are having "Prime Day" which has deals on lots of stuff. I just picked up two 64GB cards to use with my tablet for $15 each (SanDisk Ultra Class 10).

Of course, you can get the Samsung Evo+ as well. I just checked, they have a 64GB version for $19.00 right now, or $38.50 for a 128GB. No Prime Day deals on those, but still reasonably priced. I'm running the 64GB on my Pine right now, no issues.

There's a Samsung Evo 256 on the prime day deals, but it's $229.

Update on my card, it does indeed work but is very slow. I'll keep playing with it, but Remix OS might be a bit much for the PNY it seems.
