I am having trouble finding the 5v|batt jumper (the one next to the PineLogo) on the schematics !

... can someone tell me where it's located on the sheets?  tnx.

Also, does that jumper need to be moved in order to use the batt|charger ?

tnx, again.
Beware that there is 2 PCB revisions, one for 1GB RAM and one for 2GB RAM.
But we have only access to 1GB revision schematic, the 2GB still need to be published.
Maybe there is no such jumper on the 1GB, someone would have to confirm that (since I've 2GB version too)

, do you got any news when the 2GB schematic will be published ?

I can't see it either, so if it is there they did a good job of hiding it! Smile I can tell you though that the jumper when in the DC5v position connects DC in and 5v on the euler bus together. When you are running just from the battery, it looks like the BAT position connects a booster circuit to the 5v pin to step up the 3.7 nominal voltage of the battery up to 5v for the 5v pin. I

When pine64 from a battery only (no usb lead plugged in / or not powered) that it doesn't matter where the jumper is... it will work even with the jumper removed. So it *looks* like the only purpose of the jumper is to either source 5v from the microUSB or DC in pins, or from a step up circuit when battery powered.
Thanks mates ! ... makes sense. Looking forward to being able to compare the 1G schematics with the 2G schematics. I have been receiving questions about whether its 'ok' to power the board from the 5v pin on either the Euler bus, or the PI bus; without harming the power circuit/ was wondering how the jumper worked into that scenario.

tnx again.

hi martinayotte, I got a pic from Xalius of the 1G board; no jumper !  (no wonder I can't find it on the schematics!) ... doh.

by the by, you ought to join us on the irc channel sometime; your insights would be very welcom.

Doh! indeed... well, that explains it! Big Grin

Er... does he have a different 1G board? I'm pretty sure mine is a 1G - (1GB memory is the identifier, isn't it?), and it does have the jumper... maybe that is one of the differences between Rev A and B? I have a Rev B board (A64-DB-RevB 2016-02-24) (I'll edit this post shortly with a link to a pick), and it has the header???

Still in my to-do list, I will push the engineer and get this done on this week.
thanks tllim
