Ok fellas, here's the deal.

I have been unable to get my Pine to start up because I have been unable to mount the OS to my micro SD card.  I have downloaded the file from this location http://www.jide.com/remixos/devices/pinea64 multiple times, and whenever I unzip and attempt to use the packaged .img file and mount it I get the "The disc image file is corrupted" message from the computer.  I have tried multiple copies of the same and different downloads, as well as changing the location, but nothing works.  After that, I tried the PhoenixCard program, but it also gives me errors.  The error I receive from PhoenixCard is "Card preprocess failed !1251"  I have again tried different copies of the .img, but nothing works.  I have formatted the card to EXFAT from my Mac, and repeatedly reformatted, trying to find a solution.  MSDOS was no better, but I only tried it a few times.  The card is a Samsung 64gb EVO+.

Any suggestions or tips?

Try this image:

Burn on your Mac using ApplePi Baker or Etcher. See this thread for details.

Ghost is on the ball there. Thought I'd just point out you aren't supposed to mount the image file that you download - that image file is the contents of the microSD card - so that's why you use something like the ApplePi Baker tool mentioned on the forum thread mentioned. Hence why it wouldn't open - it isn't a disk image containing a Apple mac program!  Smile
What I noticed that on pine64 is older version of RemixOS, but on the jide it seems that there is newer.
Thanks fellas,

I will get back to you with my next development when it happens. OS is on the card and plugging it in now. I used ApplePi-Baker.
