Only downside with Remix so far is lack of Google app store (I tried installing it last night but it hangs...)
as for the cables I would go with: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018IAXSS4.
Look at AWG rating - the lower the better -  20 for Tronsmart cables,
28 for Amazon Basics cable - sadly I was expecting better quality from AMZ...

I guess your keyboard is in one of three langages initially proposed?

We custom made a  power only USB cable (means no data lines) for backerkit folks, such cable normally does good job on supply power.

For Amazon, I may try out such cable: http://www.amazon.com/PortaPow-Specialis...+usb+cable

On the Google store app, I also notice lacking on the beta build, will check with Remix folks whether able to add in. I will meet up with them at Beijing on early April. If there is any suggestion about Remix OS beta build, please post here. I will collect and feedback.
TL LIm, I got in touch with the guys of Remix and they told that 2GB RAM is a minimum requirement for the OS to run smoothly. Personally, I wouldn't mind as my boards will come with 2GB but what about those with 1GB boards?
Remix prefer 2GB DRAM for better user experience. If backer try out on 1GB board and satisfy on the performance, then they can continue use the Remix.

Thanks for confirming this.
I had that debate with a backer over at the KS comments. He claimed that the 1GB board can handle the REMIX OS with no problems. This is why I had to ask the official REMIX about that.

As noted above it works OK with 1gb of RAM, I bet the experience will be better with 2gb boards. This image does not contain google app store.
