I am a KS backer and got my EMS shipping number (LS888452733CN) on May 27. The tracking info was never updated and today it's showing as "Expired." Wanted to ask here first... Any idea what's going on?

Please PM me your KS order number, I will ask shipping facility to check out. However, there may takes few days.

I had a similar issue, the package went from UPS to USPS then no information for a month and suddenly delivered today. The mailing methood sucks but is cheap. I can't say that it's pines fault though.

I have exactly the same. I got my tracking number on the 16th May but it was pending until it became expired on the 26th May.
I sent an email explaining the issue. I'm still waiting for an reply.

Expired tracking number means:

"Shipment has no tracking information for 7 days since added, or has no further updates for 30 days since last update."

There are several such cases happen on May 27 shipment, the tracking number sudden become "expired" but backer starts receive their shipment. I have ask the China shipping facility to file a complaint to China EMS and open an investigation. China EMS already look into their system and thinks this may be the system glitch. However, this incident put a heavy customer support on us :-(

Same problem as others, Kickstarter backer, got tracking number 27 May, Aftership claimed "PENDING" for 9 days, now "EXPIRED". Have NOT received kit, have NOT received any information.

Tracking number LS888451565CN.
