Hello.

I was wondering, if USB audio is possible on Android for use with external USB DACs?

Anyone? I have a Dragonfly USB dac and would be a good option to set a small hifi system.

I have good USB Dac and will check out when time allow.

My order has been finally shipped so with a little bit of luck I might be able to test it myself by the end of this week and will report back.

At any case, if usb audio is not supported, I think it would be a very good idea if this driver implementation is included in the next Android image.

By the way, when is the next Android image going to be released?

My order has been finally shipped so with a little bit of luck I might be able to test it myself by the end of this week and will report back.

At any case, if usb audio is not supported, I think it would be a very good idea if this driver implementation is included in the next Android image.

By the way, when is the next Android image going to be released?

There will be a release soon on fixed boot up logo default to 720p. The next major release will be on June for Android 6.0 Marshmallow build.

That's great! So we are going to have Android 6.0 in a month. Great news. 
Hopefully, the new images will also increase response and stability. I haven't tried anything myself but a lot of users complain about instability and slow Ethernet performance. Hope all these glitches will be fixed soon.

I would really love to build a ''hifi'' and connect it to my USB DAC and amplifier to be able to play lossless files as well as some Spotify and Deezer material.

For default 720p Android build, we plan to release on next week after tested good. For Marshmallow build, the work already started and will follow up after this new lollipop release.

Is it going to be a OTA update? What are the features added in this new relearse apart from 720p compatibility?
