PinePhone RTL8723CS automatic test fail and WiFi problem
#1
I run automated tests RTL8723CS is failing.
https://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/PinePhone

If RTL8723CS is failing:
"make sure there is Wifi router around 5 meter area when perform this test, the Wifi test function sniff for SSID to determine test result during autotest. The Wifi can fail if the battery power is too low. "

I tried with battery full and charger on but still automatic tests fail and there should be Wifi signals around.

And I have not got WiFi working with Ubports or Manjaro Alpha3.

Any one else having this problem?
Any ideas how to get it to work?

Or is the HW just faulty?

I think I remember someone else with the same problem got it to work by flicking the privacy switches from off to on and back again, YMMV.

Earlier I had tried once to flick switches on/off and tried also to run tests when switch is off.
Now I tried multiple times but no success. Sad

Thanks for the tip. Maybe this might still help someone else.

My PinePhone failed the test for the RTL8723CS at first but after being plugged in and charging for about an hour I tried it again and now it passes. Still fails the EG25 test so I will continue to look into that.
