Simple 3d Printed Case
#11
I've currently got this printing...2 hours left on the bottom, then it's on to the top!

I also installed the debian image on my Pine (it just showed up today), and set it up to take the place of the rpi I currently have running OctoPrint. If all goes according to plan, the Pine case will be the last thing my rpi prints... Smile

What 3D printer?

A Tevo Tarantula.  It's a low-end Prusa i3 clone, but unlike most i3's, this one has a full metal frame (built with 2020 aluminum extrusion).  They can be had on Ebay/Alibaba/etc for around $200-$250 for the base model.

Here's a shot of the test fit after the bottom finished.

I printed your design but both the times there was alignment issue - i.e. the top and bottom didn't properly close/align. Might be the original design itself.

Also, the smaller notches break VERY easily.

Can you please let me know what size screws are ideal to lock it down - your design said M3 - is that correct?

Some pics attached.
