Problems with remote printers with pine64 (SOLVED)
#1
Hi guys,

This is my very first post. Last Saturday I changed my rpi2 for a pine64 just to do the same functions that rpi2 did. I migrated my webpages, network drivers and two printers. I copied smb.conf and cupds.conf to pine64 (both with boards have debian installed) but it didn't work. After removing and reinstalling cups several times just to see if all worked, pine64 had an error during boot (sorry, I don't remember the exact error), so I let for a few days.

Yesterday, I tried with ubuntu 16.04 loongsleep but I had the same results. I can print from local, but I can't print from any remote machine and the config is the same I had in rpi2.

Could anyone give me some clue? I'll update later this post with cupsd.conf and smb.conf.

Thanks in advance.

Edit:

I've added this to cupds.conf:

security = user

So now it's working! Thanks for your support Smile
