Where to start

It is setup for dhcp, so if you got a dhcp-server you'd be good to go.

Just to let you know that following the process previously mentioned, I was able to connect via Putty. However I am still not able to reach OpenHab web server http://openhab:8080 . Any ideas someone?

ah Got it! For some reason the http://openhab:8080 does'nt work but it works with the IP followed by the port number '192.168.xxx.xxx :8080'. I wonder why?

I have the same problem sometimes with my NAS box (running debian wheezy). It seems every now and then the friendly networking naming goes bonkers, so I use access it via IP. Haven't had that problem for a while, so I really don't know what the trigger is. I don't think it's the router as it regularly reboots every week, so nothing should be stick or crashing there!
