PinePhone Pro not detected by my PC

You need to hold volume down button immediately after powering on and seeing the red light + first vibrate. That'll boot to the sd card.

I'd also like to see the output of
Code:
lsblk
and your dd command being issued.

To illustrate my edit of my last point I waited for a minute to press enter to show you the status of the installation. It won't install if the inter button is not consistently being pressed.
What did I do wrong here?

Edit: is it that i should type mmcblk1? not mmblk1?

I did try it with mmcblk1 in lieu of mmblk1 and there was no difference still wont install unless i hold the enter key
