Is that so? Too bad.. I watched some videos showcasing SXMO, even though I like the old-school touch the whole concept seems to ignore what multi-touch screens are capable of (you know.. to touch some finger-sized icons for example? :-P )

My bad, I meant Lord Windy, not you. (;^ω^)
Because SXMO is the one WM I can think of that is both "AwesomeWM-like" and designed for a screen-only device.
All the others are designed towards those with a keyboard, which in the smartphone realm is sadly less than 0.1%, since everyone was copying Apple to ride the same bandwagon, and then the whole world got used to screen-only phones.
Only BlackBerry held on to its hardware keyboard for much longer, but even they gave in at some point.

Though currently it only seems to be running on postmarketOS.

I wish we would see more from Maemo-Leste, I LOVE the UI on the N900; it is dark, fast, tiles out nicely; I still use my N900 probably until the pinephone/Mobian(or someday Leste) is ready for everyday battery life and function.

Well, seems now (with introduction of PinePhone Pro) that OP got their wish after all. Smile
