Audio does work on HDMI output.
Jack does not, could not try SP/DIF.

Kernel dts and driver seems ok, I do not know what is wrong.

Yeah, so I figured my RockPro64 was broken for months, because the audio out didn't work even though it looked like you switched the audio to the audio jack.
It appears it was not in fact broken, atleast the hardware was not.

You now have to 'force' enable it in Alsa manually to get it going:
https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=9794

Also, you might additionally have to save the alsa configuration so that it gets restored after a reboot.
But with the above manual intervention, it works OK. It does remain a little low on volume though.

So, this means the dtb and the driver is not in fact OK. In fact, it is broken.
Otherwise alsa and pulseaudio would have found it and enabled it correctly.
And it doesn't, so it isn't.

Clearly it is way more fun to create watches and smartphones than it it so make your most premium top-of-the-line product work right. And so it doesn't, and support for the RockPro64 board is comparatively minimal... In fact, it feels all but abandoned. In fact, even the basics of just booting the RockPro64 remains difficult. The uboot / spi situation remains problematic, unofficial and untested. Which is a little sad, because it is in fact an awesome little machine with a lot of unrealized potential. So much potential...
