I did finally get a chance to try it out the other night. And even though my computer showed the card having nothing on it, it must have been there because plugging it into the board, it would start to boot. Booting kept failing, I believe due to power supply issues, but I've got a new one coming today. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to get it up and running.

Regardless, wanted to let people know that even though the computer shows the card empty, it did actually burn the image successfully, which is what was stated before. Just confirming that is what I saw. Thanks everyone for the comments.

In my opinion the phoenix software doesn't always work correctly. I have had the same problem on all my raspberry pi's. I have found a program called etcher that works a lot better. I have installed all the images from the download site with no problems.
