Has anyone done instructions that do not require the PhoenixCard tool?

I got "Card Preprocess Failed!" error messages when I tried to copy the Android .img file to my Sandisk MicroSD card with that tool. I know that the card is good, since I was able to copy the Ubuntu image to it with a different imaging tool.

See:

and forget the files from the wiki AFTER you checked your card. Search forum for usable android images...
