Read-only problem - mikedhoore - 04-03-2018

So i have a problem ...

My rock is on 24/7, some weeks ago i had every day the next error when i wanted to execute a sudo command

Code:
sudo: unable to open /var/lib/sudo/ts/rock64: Read-only file system
The only thing i can do to fix it is a reboot.

So after a week i changed the eMMC ....
It was good for 3 weeks but now is the problem back anyone an idea what the problem can be ?

I have 4GB rock + 32GB eMMC and running stretch-minimal-rock64-0.5.15-136

RE: Read-only problem - xalius - 04-04-2018

Are you maybe running out of space? What else is on in the logs?

RE: Read-only problem - mikedhoore - 04-04-2018

Space is not the issue, only 5GB in use ...

I'm now looking in to kern.log and find this from the last days before read-only-"crash"

RE: Read-only problem - xalius - 04-04-2018

Ok that looks more like the filesystem dropped into read-only mode because of the block device errors, maybe bad eMMC?
