longsleep build

[drmConfusedunxi_drm_fb_ioctl] *ERROR* bad cmd to drm fb.

RE: Help with HW Acceleration - longsleep - 07-07-2016

Well what is the point? I already know that it does not work - i cannot remember that issue but essentially the problem is that the screen is pink (which is good) but nothing shows ever. I do not have the time to figure this out from the code alone. If someone provides a working image so i can look at why that image works and mine does not i might be willing to take another look.

agreed as there is nothing here that the allwinner team provided that suggests they got this to work at all.

I will be banging away at the BSP sources to see if anything turns up there

Mali 400mp2 is working very good on allwiner h3 (orange pi pc) on kodi, linux, android so they did get it to work.

Indeed, Cortex A7 is a 32bit architecture, whereas Cortex A53 is the 64bit successor of the A7 according to Arm documentation: Cortex-A53

Has anyone with any knowledge of these issues expressed them to TLLIM???

If so, TLLIM, Has it been relayed AW?

Found OS image here. Anyone want to check?

RE: Help with HW Acceleration - lenny.raposo-pine64.pro - 07-16-2016

The issue is the DRM stack from AllWinner as it is currently not working.

We have to await word from AllWinner regarding what is missing/clarification on their DRM driver(s). At this point it is not the Mali Blobs it's the DRM stack Wink

The Allwinner engineer who involved in 64-bit MALI porting just becomes father and takes few days off. He will back in office on July 18, and I will follow up with him again.
