Hi mara,

I have been running slackware on a rock64 for a long time now. It is used as my router, openvpn and samba server. It has the 4.4.254 kernel. My question is, can I use slackpkg to upgrade it to slackware 15.0, including the kernel. Or is there another process that is used for the kernel and firmware upgrade?
Thanks,

Karl

Hi Karl,

It is possible and necessary, slackpkg update everything except the kernel and firmware.
/etc/slackpkg/blacklist
Code:
kernel.*
