RE: x11 vnc black screen - dontpostalot - 01-22-2018 I'm reasonably sure it has nothing to do with the video driver since I would've remembered that. What is your desktop environment (LXDE here w LightDM)? Could you maybe try a 'sudo apt-get install xscreensaver' (and disable the screen saver) to see if it makes a difference? I just used etcher to flash DietPi_v156_Rock64-arm64-(Stretch).img to my emmc card plugged into the USB adaptor and so far no problems. Hello dontpostalot, I just reinstalled Ubuntu, removed MATE and installed LXDE with lightDM and xscreensaver (disabling screen saver) but still, same issue (01-27-2018, 12:07 AM)evilbunny Wrote:(01-19-2018, 02:59 PM)soichiro Wrote: At this point, I will just set aside my rock64 and wait for an emmc version of DietPI that for what I saw and tested, if the fastest distro out there for the rock64. Is it possible that DietPI is not working with an EMMC 8GB? I am asking this because for some reason I am unable to boot the OS with my 8GB but today, I tried to use my 32GB EMMC and it worked at the first try.... |
