What happens if you under-power voltage? - GoZone - 03-29-2016

If you have 2.1 V versus 5.1 V, does it not boot or is it very slow?  Huh

Fortunately it doesn't boot. Please keep in mind that Pine64 uses Micro USB for DC-IN so if you're using common USB cables (resistance way too high) you're already risiking undervoltage situations. Using a quality PSU that is immune to voltage drops even with increasing consumption and a good cable is a must when you want to enjoy your board.

BTW: Is it possible that you enlarge your signature image a bit?

Andrew2 - How much resistance is way too high? Maybe a better question is, what is ideal range of resistance?

Thanx

Look at the cable whether it says something like 28AWG - that is bad cable. 20AWG - good cable Smile
more on this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_wire_gauge
resistance of the 28AWG cable is 6 times more than 20AWG cable
