Rock64 Android + Bluetooth BLE - hobsii - 08-15-2017

Hi,
Does the Rock 64 support Bluetooth BLE on Android? In some places I can see a reference to a USB with Bluetooth 4 but I can't find it in the store.
Thanks

Not yet (speaking of the community build - not sure about stock RK build). Asked ayufan about it yesterday - here is the exchange:

Quote:15:19:09 <lukasz> ayufan: at the risk of being very annoying (apologies in advance) ... think there is a chance in BT drivers in next ATV iteration ?
15:19:23 <ayufan> not yet
15:19:26 <lukasz> ok
15:19:34 <ayufan> in about 2-4 wks i believe
15:19:42 <lukasz> fair enough Smile
edit: I realised that I didn't fully answer you question -- there will be a BT module available from the store at some point in the future.

As of April 2018, is the CSR8510 Bluetooth working on Android?  How do we get it to work cuz mine isn't!   Huh Huh

RE: Rock64 Android + Bluetooth BLE - krystian - 12-12-2018

dammit, should have searched the boards before buying mine.

It is detected:

Code:
[  338.069545]  [0:          khubd:   40] usb 4-1: new full-speed USB device number 3 using ohci-platform
[  338.259164]  [0:          khubd:   40] usb 4-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0a12, idProduct=0001
[  338.259232]  [0:          khubd:   40] usb 4-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[  338.259281]  [0:          khubd:   40] usb 4-1: Product: CSR8510 A10
But that's it.
The bluetooth toggle does nothing, just sits there idle after switching it.
Tried to switch it on programatically - nada.
Dammit...
