HDMI Compatability - rahlquist - 07-06-2017 So, its been a good while. The question is, has anything been done with any of the OS that has increased HDMI compatibility, or is it still shi%t? The main reason I bought the Pine64 was to use it as a playback device with Plex since it touted its 4k compatibility, and since even a Pi can work with nearly all HDMI devices I expected this to work, but every time I have tried only one Tv/Monitor in my house out of 5 works. RE: HDMI Compatability - Erik - 07-06-2017 At the moment I'm typing om my pinebook 14" connected to a HDMI screen. Just modified /boot/uEnv.txt file. It works., although the suggested xinerama and clone don't. But outputting to a screen no problem. Just keep in mind the output is YPbPr, so at first I had funny colors, but I adjusted the monitor and now the view is nearliy perfect and very readable. Erik Delft. RE: HDMI Compatability - xalius - 07-06-2017 Ayufan figured out how to add new mode lines to the current table of HDMI modes a while back by working around one of the binary blobs Allwinner left in the video driver. It is still a good bit of work to add more modes to the driver, but basically just someone needs to do it and test them now: https://github.com/ayufan-pine64/linux-pine64/commit/9c32b49012fdbb983ae2e26b8cade0965950c9db Initial support for custom resolutions https://github.com/ayufan-pine64/linux-pine64/commit/7e19e18454cb450ad151cc77068b5324c8dd5edb Automatically calculate ptbl for hdmi bsp driver RE: HDMI Compatability - rahlquist - 07-06-2017 (07-06-2017, 10:20 AM)xalius Wrote: Ayufan figured out how to add new mode lines to the current table of HDMI modes a while back by working around one of the binary blobs Allwinner left in the video driver. I was able to get my pine up and running using 720p on the one device I have here in my office using the android 6 image, the screen runs off the edges some. The 7 non tv image didnt work (but may have been my fault for not wiping the card after 6). 7tv version worked with 720p. I am trying 7 again after a full wipe of the card to see if it works this time. As for your question, if you are using one of ayufan's android images then you can set one of the supported resolutions in uEnv per his instuctions. In example: Code: disp_mode=1080p60 RE: HDMI Compatability - qwerty2002 - 07-29-2017 Ayufan figured out how to add new mode lines to the current table of HDMI modes a while back by working around one of the binary blobs Allwinner left in the video driver. I think so. ทางเข้า sbobet |
