GitLab CE? - johnkacz - 02-22-2016

I'm wondering if it might eventually be possible to have Pine64 with GitLab installed on it. They currently have a version for Raspbian Wheezy (https://about.gitlab.com/downloads/)

I think that having Gitlab running on pine64 will be possible and it is one of the things I will do with mine.

I will keep you posted for more details.

Any updates for running GitLab on Pine64?

Just found this and after struggling with getting Apache set up for git (don't know much about Linux) I will test it tonight and report back.

Well I tried, but I just couldn't get it to run. I don't think it's a direct problem of GitLab and more the problem that you just can't run software without endless hacking of cryptic configuration files in crude text editors, while following out-of-date-tutorials. Being a novice in Linux this is not something I can get to work unfortunately. If someone else manages to get it running, it would be great to post what you did.
