problem connecting to Pine 64 store - stephen fleming - 09-24-2016

I have a problem connecting to the Pine 64 store. When I try connecting using Firefox, this message appears:

Your connection is not secure
The owner of shop.pine64.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

I tried using Microsoft Edge and Kaspersky Internet Security gave me this message:

Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established
Application: Microsoft Edge
URL:           shop.pine64.com
Reason:      Invalid name of certificate. Either the name is not on the allowed list, or was explicitly excluded.

I was able to place an order earlier this month, so this happened just recently.

Are you accessing the store from a bookmark or something? The URL for the pine64 website was recently changed to redirect from pine64.com to pine64.org, so everything is at one URL now. That error is probably coming up as you have bookmarked https://shop.pine64.com/, which due to the https:// will not allow for the redirect, and since the certificate is only valid for pine64.org, you get the certificate error.

Try going to https://www.pine64.org/ instead, and go to the shop link at the top right. Wink

Yes, I was using a bookmark. The new link works fine. Thanks !
