Issues with T-Mobile Home Internet? - skinnyonthebebop - 08-17-2023

Just signed up for T-Mobile home internet in US. It is basically a permanent hotspot on their network. Setup other devices (MacBook, iPhone, Motorola) without issues just connecting to new Wifi network with credentials. Tried to do it on my Pinebook Pro running default, udpated, Manjaro OS but it can't get a connection. Switched back to old network and connected right away. Just curious if anyone has had a similar issue, haven't had a chance to go through all the troubleshooting steps yet.

Did you get this resolved? I don't recall having an issue and I use the same ISP.

I haven't but it is good to know it might not be on the TMobile end. I haven't had a lot of spare time to look into it and all my linux experience is Debian based so I am struggling to figure it out. It says it can't find the WLAN connection. At this point I am debating trying to install Armbian so at least I am more familiar with the experience.

Did finally resolve this although it probably won't help too many people. I ended up installing Tow-Boot and using it to boot Armbian from an SD. Once I installed Armbian, it started working immediately.
