WiFi stopped on Pinebook Pro after update - tkudog - 10-24-2022

After being gone for a month, I returned yesterday 23 Oct 2022 and thought 'let's update the Pinebook pro while I unpack'.  Running Manjaroo.  So I did, and after restart, WiFi no longer works.  Networks show "No available connections".  WiFi is on through the privacy switch (2 led blinks).  Any ideas how to fix?

@tkudog I had the exact same thing happen.  Then I contacted support and was given limited info.

I was going to trash my pinebook (the trackpad is crummy and I don't want to spend more on it with a replacement part, etc.)

SO, I created a new account "foo" in order to delete my old account.  But the WiFI works in new account "foo".

Give it a try.

What is my guess?  The update messed up the WiFi settings on that one account, and I have no idea how to fix the settings.  (I am pretty technical and looked at all the settings - saw nothing amiss.)

Sorry, the link in the first reply solved my problem:  "Try a cold boot.  Wifi and Bluetooth is really flaky when doing reboots/warmboots."
