How to charge with 3 ampere / 5 volt / 15 watts? - lacriz - 03-09-2022

Hi,

in the pine phone manual that came with the phone it says the phone can be charged with up to 3 ampere.

I bought a 3 ampere phone charger but the 'Power supply' tool says this about the usb charger:

'Current Limit: 1.5A'

Can I do something about this?

The phone is charging just as slow as with my old 1.5A charger, so as of now I just wasted my money on the new charger Sad

Where are you reading the amps/power supply tool? (I am using mobian and this is not in settings)
I use a pine-power and am curious myself.

According to https://packages.mobian-project.org/ it should be possible to install this tool on Mobian:

sudo apt get powersupply (or similar)

So I am showing 3 amp(voltage is blank) from a portable pine-power, but the battery charging shows only 5.13w when I am at 66% battery.
