axolotl - shulamy - 01-28-2022

ii installed axolotl on my pinephone but when i run it from terminal i get

ACCEPT TCP 127.0.0.1:38895: USE OF CLOSED NETWORK CONNECTION WHILE TCP ACCEPTING

the port number may vary

i installed electron and gconf as i found in a post but same error

if it matters the sim is a "car sim" but wifi works

ezik

i installed the axsolotl-bin aur package

RE: axolotl - shulamy - 04-02-2022

so now axolotl start to work but after the humanity check

it gets to the screen to enter the code and i can't insert the code

when i click on a rectangle to enter a digit it shows vertical curser but if i press a digit nothing happens

can it because the sim is secondery (for car - and supose to wark only for calls) or is it a bug?

it happens in arch and manjaro with phosh and i think mobian as well - i hope to check it tomorow

Hi Shulamy,

there's a solution from Arno Nuehm to this:

"Start Axolotl and open Firefox with the adress 127.0.0.1:9080

This should show the same window as Axolotl but not via Electron (which seems to be the cause of the failing input)."

RE: axolotl - shulamy - 04-18-2022

so i mannaged to insert the code and in the terminal i see ping sent and pong received

but i get  "error communicating with signal server (is it because the sim is secondary)

when i try to import contacts from vcf file it tells me

Quote:importing contacts, head back later

and not importing

doesn't signal have access to the phone contacts?
