Case compatibility - JD1er - 01-16-2022

Hello, everyone
in the wiki (link 1) and the announcements made, it is considered that the accessory boxes (such as the fingerprint reader and the keyboard) and the screen protector (link 4)are compatible with both the original Pinephone and the new one.

However, the question that I did not see answered is about the protective boxes (link 2 and 3). Are they compatible? ( because it seem the new one is a little thicker)
If anyone knows i'm sure i'm not the only one with this question.
Otherwise, if someone already has an original pinephone with the case in question and who intends to order the Pro, an update upon receiving the new Pinephone Pro could also respond to the question.

Thanks in advance for all of you

It is mentioned in one of Lukes updates,

Yes the new phone is thicker over-all, but I understand it still uses the same rear covers.

I just ordered a PP Pro Explorer Edition, so I have not got it in my hands yet to compare with my original Pine phones.

I was able to get an answer from a youtuber/developer who got his hands on the first batch of PinephonePro and he confirms that the case does, BUT since the screen is thicker it protrudes from the case and the the screen is not protected at all.
